Saturday night

After the movie this morning (a great movie, by the way), we started
to make our way up the Pacific Coast Highway to see some beaches and
some family.

On the way, we stopped at Red Mango, a trendy frozen yogurt shop, for
Amy and Kirsten. Also at Diddie Riese (sp) for Daniel and Kyle. Both
are near the UCLA campus. Diddle Riese, a popular shop locally, has
awesome made to order ice cream sandwiches for $1.25. Daniel said it's
his second favorite ice cream place in the world behind Brewster's and
their brownie sundae. He LOVED it. Won't be surprised if we somehow
end up there again tomorrow.

After an hour so at the beach in Malibu, we stopped at a winery off of
Kanan Canyon Road. Tasted a white and a few reds, and left with a few
bottles.

That was on our way to visit Kyle and Kirsten's 2nd cousins Todd and
Kevin. We had a great dinner with them, Todd's kids Amber and Austin,
and Kevin's wife Sue, at a surfing-themed Mexican restaurant. Went
back to their place (the Anderson family "ranch" that's been in the
family for many years) for a bit before heading home.

One day left...
