time, although I recall hearing that the new planes they'll take
delivery of next year will have less. Flight attendants were generally
pretty young, but all were very friendly. (Not the over-the-top
friendly/funny like Southwest.) A lot of kids, so if that bothers you,
those noise-canceling headphones would be smart. I'm sure it's more of
an issue on these vacation destinations.
Snack prices weren't unreasonable. $2 for pop and candy bars, chips,
etc. $5 alcohol. $8 cheese and fruit trays, wraps, other sandwiches.
$10 larger entrees. Very broad selection. They did come on the PA
with sales announcements every 30-40 minutes. A "help us keep our
prices low" kind of thing.
No complaints about flying into Burbank. Some people (i.e. Amy) find
it unsettling that you board and deplane using ramps from the ground
at the front and back of the plane instead of jetways. It was actually
neat to step off the plane and see some amazing mountains right in
front of you. Not every airport has that kind of view of course, but
it's something I'd never considered.
Kirsten parked across a driveway and up a flight of steps from baggage
claim. And yes, we did get everything into Kirsten's Volvo. Barely.
